The biggest challenge in today’s world seems to be the struggle of how to live peacefully together in different settings and structures. The Art of Living Together is not always easy to master. We are carrying in our hearts a dream to come together each year for one week around Eastern (this will be already our sixth time!) to sharpen our abilities to live together, so that we can bring our experiences and skills back to our everyday lives.

PRACTICE THE PRINCIPLES OF NVC!

Our intention in these seven days is to create an intensive experiment and experience of how relationships work. We want to live in a community where we explore what can be created when people value connection and honesty, and learn tools that can help us in living these values.

Come and let’s experiment together how can we create an environment where trust and honesty, even around painful issues, are valued and your needs are as important as everyone else’s!

Our aim is to offer you and ourselves many possibilities for personal growth through deepening Nonviolent Communication skills and enjoyable treatments to our soul and body in Spa Hotel Fra Mare and the surrounding seaside.

Topics in this experimental week include:

  • the spiritual foundation of NVC
  • living NVC within ourselves, in our relationships, and in the world
  • working with intimate relationships
  • anger, guilt and shame
  • money issues
  • group process dimension
  • ...and much more

All participants are welcome to offer and ask for sessions on whatever topics are most valuable for themselves.

HOW WILL WE WORK?

The format includes presentations, discussions, exercises, sharings, small groups, simulations, informal practice during meals, sauna, pool, walks etc. Lots of skill practice, experiential learning, empathy groups, openness around budget of event, other money issues, group process etc.

  • Part 1: Skill building – basic and advanced – depending on participants requests.
  • Part 2: Live group process – Applying the skills in the group to about how to really live the NVC values in a group. (Inspired by the FIRO theory)
  • Part 3: Shared leadership. Space for presentations, ideas, best practices, coaching on leading the group etc.

WHO WOULD BENEFIT?

People who

  • have basic knowledge of the NVC process (the more experience you already have, the more valuable your week will be).
  • wish to broaden and deepen their Nonviolent Communication skills.
  • value walking their talk – living what they are valuing and believing in.
  • are longing to create or deepen their spiritual community.
  • wish to take a step toward becoming certified NVC trainers.

Let’s experiment, live, learn, play and enjoy together!

CONTRIBUTIONS FOR TRAINING:

To support the experiment leaders in their work and living, we would enjoy you choosing your contribution between 400 and 1000 EUR.

Resources in today's world are very unequally distributed. We all know that there are people living not far away from us who can barely cover their needs for very basic sustenance and shelter, and others who can easily afford more „luxurious“ life conditions for themselves and their families.

If you choose to contribute an amount close to the higher end of the sliding scale - or even more - you will make it possible for people to participate who might have fewer resources to use in this period of their life.

We are asking you to contribute as much as you really enjoy giving from your heart - holding with equal care your needs as well as ours!

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT:

TO be determined!

NB! If you have registered and you then choose not to participate for some reason please let us know as soon as possible as this may affect our hosting of this event.

SUPPORTERS

We are aware that there are people who's participation might be hindered by lack of financial ressourses.

Therefore we are offering for you or your organisation possibility to make your contribution to support someone's participation!

We remember you that this way you are supporting creating societies where tolerance, understanding, connection and peaceful fruitful cooperation will flourish!

CERTIFICATES:

Participants will receive certificates from the Center for Nonviolent Communication.
